"By nurturing a clod of earth and an olive tree, we develop resilience in the hearts of children, families, and the community"

τι κάνει ο ζΒόλος

What does zVolos do?

Our team, through the personal journeys of each of its members, has developed Resilience as a skill in various ways and aims to train individuals experientially in developing it, with the goal of facilitating a smoother adaptation of our society to whatever challenges it faces each time. "zVolos" was founded in 2024 and is a Social Cooperative Enterprise (Koin.S.Ep).

Resilience

What does resilience mean?

It is the ability to recover one's strength after difficult situations and to be able to adapt to the new circumstances that arise.

Why is resilience important?

Emergency situations, stress-inducing circumstances, and disasters happen and will always happen, every day and more frequently. We cannot avoid them, but we can prepare for them.

How do we do it?

zVolos manages land plots that their owners are unable to maintain, cultivating and processing agricultural products.

Part of the production is returned to the landowners.

The profit from this initiative is used to partially fund zVolos’s educational programs.

Volunteers and adult members of the community who wish to develop resilience experientially, participate in seminars fully aligned with nature.

Children and students from the community can participate in experiential educational programs for developing resilience through pedagogical activities that we organize for local schools and community centers.

Families can participate in creative picnics and educational games at our farm.
