2nd Family Festival of Volos

zVolos, the Volunteers and the Department of Culture, Creative Media and Industries of University of Thessaly have organized for the second year the Family Festival of Volos.
A lot of games, activities and smiles created unique memories for the whole family.

Experiential Seminar - 4th Elementary School of New Ionia of Volos, “Panagiotis Katsirelos”
On Friday 04.04.2025 we hosted the 1st year students and their teachers Anastasia Hatzivasiloglou and Joulia Stamou of the 4th Elementary School of New Ionia of Volos, “Panagiotis Katsirelos” at our facilities. The students participated in the experiential seminar entitled “A lump of emotions; an experiential project on emotions through environmental education”
Action for the International Day of Older Persons at the "Sourligkeio Foundation of Kanalia"
On Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024, our team participated in the the initiative of the "Doctors of Love Health Organization" at the Sourligkeio Foundation of Kanalia, the Elderly Care Home of the Holy Metropolis of Dimitriados and Almyros.
There, "zVolos" together with the "Volunteers of the University of Thessaly", built a bridge of communication between the 11th Kindergarten of Volos and the residents of the care home. The event concluded with a game of Bingo, bringing joy to all of us!
1st Festival of the Informal Network of Health Organizations of the Magnesia Prefecture of the Metropolis, titled "One Year Later, All Together in One Embrace,"
On the 6th and 7th of September 2024, zVolos participated in the festival of the Informal Network of Health Organizations of the Magnesia Prefectures of the Metropolis, informing people of their initiatives and services provided to the community.
Christmas activities for families at "The 11 Concept."
With a festive spirit, we created Christmas ornaments and had fun at "The 11 Concept" in Volos!
International Day of Persons with Disabilities
December 11 2024 - zVolos collaborated with the Special Education Vocational Workshop of Volos (EEEEK) supporting them in facilitating awareness activities for the public to commemorate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities at the main square of Saint Nicholas Church.
